    The Tecre Model 100 makes 1 inch round buttons. It is the smallest press in Tecre's manual range: a heavy-duty, all-metal machine for pins, flair and small giveaways produced in large numbers.

    What a 1 inch button is for

    • Flair and pin collections for bags, jackets and lanyards
    • High-volume giveaways at events, where a small unit keeps cost per piece down
    • Campaign and cause pins with a simple logo or short word
    • Party favours and name pins for children's events

    At 1 inch, there is room for a logo, an icon or two or three large words. It is not the right size for photographs. For photo magnets, see the 2 x 3 inch rectangle.

    How it works

    1. Punch your printed artwork with the 1313 punch.
    2. Load a shell, the artwork and mylar into the first die and press.
    3. Swivel to the second die, add the back, and press again.

    Positive stops align the dies on every press, and the cam-on-roller action needs very little force, which matters over long runs.

    Yes. You can make both as long as you use the correct supplies for the machine size.

    Yes. A graphic punch ensures your artwork is the perfect size for your button or magnet.

    That depends on the model you choose: 2x2 in. square, 1.75x2.75 in. rectangle, 2x3 in. rectangle, or 2.25 in. round.

    Very fast. As a beginner, you can create a set of 12 magnets in under 5 minutes once you get the process down.

    9. How heavy is the machine? Can I move it around easily?

    Most models weigh between 18–20 lbs. They’re sturdy but can be moved when needed.
