Choosing photos that print well
At 3.25" x 4" the panel is roughly postcard size, so a photo with one clear subject reads far better than a wide group shot. A few things make a visible difference:
- Send the original file, not a screenshot or a version that has been through a messaging app. Compression shows up as mush in hair and fabric.
- Crop toward vertical. The panel is taller than it is wide, so a portrait-orientation photo fills it without losing the sides.
- Watch the edges. Keep faces away from the outer edge, which can be lost to trim.
- Bright beats dark. Very low-light photos lose shadow detail on paper that looked fine on a backlit screen.
Who it suits
