Save the date magnets with your photo, printed and shipped from Illinois. Six designs, three sizes, your choice of font and frame colour.
A paper save the date gets read once and filed in a drawer. A magnet goes on the fridge and stays there until the wedding, which is the entire point of sending one.
Choosing a size
- Small, 2.75" x 3.5" is the classic announcement size and the most economical choice for a long guest list. Best with a photo of one or two people.
- Medium, 3.25" x 4" gives the photo noticeably more room and is the size most couples land on.
- Large, 4" x 5" reads as a keepsake print rather than a notice. Choose it for a full-length portrait or a landscape shot where the setting matters.
Every size is a 1.5mm magnet, thick enough to sit flat on a fridge door instead of curling at the corners the way thin promotional magnets do.

Photo advice
The engagement photos that print best are the simple ones. A tight shot of two faces with a clean background survives the reduction to 3" better than a wide landscape where you both end up small.
Send the original camera or phone file rather than a copy pulled from social media or a messaging app. Those are heavily compressed, and damage that is invisible on a phone screen becomes visible on paper.
If your photographer has given you edited files, use those. If they have applied a heavy grain or a very dark grade, ask them for a cleaner version for print.
When to send them
Six to eight months before the wedding is the usual advice, and nine to twelve months if you are asking guests to travel or booking around a holiday weekend. The save the date carries the date and the city. The invitation, with times, venue and RSVP, follows later.
Envelopes and postage
A magnet is thicker and less flexible than a card, so it will not run through automated postal sorting the way a flat letter does. In the United States that usually means the non-machinable surcharge. Weigh one finished magnet in its envelope at the post office before you buy stamps for the whole list. Frequently asked questions
How long does the whole thing take?
We print and ship within one to two business days once we have your photo, then carrier transit depends on the service you choose.
Can I use a photo my photographer took?
Yes, provided your contract allows you to print personal copies. Most do. If yours does not, ask them for a print release.
How many do I need?
Count households, not guests, then add a few spares. A 150-guest wedding usually needs 70 to 90.
Will they stick to a stainless fridge?
Some stainless doors are non-magnetic, which is worth knowing before you assume every guest will display it. The magnet itself holds on any steel surface.
Can I order different sizes?
Yes. Add each size to your cart as a separate item.
